Carolien Stolte’s research focuses on South Asian history from a transregional perspective. Her current project is entitled “Southern Crossings: Indian activists and the Afro-Asian Movement in the Early Cold War”. Stolte is chief editor of the journal Itinerario (Cambridge University Press) and of the book series Global Connections (Leiden University Press).
With Su Lin Lewis (Bristol University), she co-directs the Afro-Asian Networks project (see website, blog, twitter).
