- About Me
I have written extensively on issues of collective memory in Soviet and Russian politics. I recently completed a social, cultural, and political history of the year 1956 in Russia. Currently I am researching the writer’s village of Peredelkino both as a Soviet phenomenon of state influence over intellectuals and as a post-Soviet site of property wars and recently of renewed state patronage.
