About Me

I am a Ph.D. candidate at American University under the direction of Dr. Malgorzata Rymsza-Pawlowska. For my dissertation, I am examining several traveling exhibitions central to U.S. public relations campaigns that ran during the years of the Truman presidency (1945-1952).

I earned master’s degrees in library science, religious studies, and public history. I have been teaching undergraduate religious studies courses online at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte since 2014. My courses teach religious studies concepts using popular culture and/or public history examples and film.

I am the digital strategist for the Humanities Truck project in Washington, DC.
