About Me

I am a doctoral candidate in History and African American Studies at Yale University. I am writing my dissertation on the international grassroots movement against South African apartheid in the 1970s and the 1980s. Prior to entering the academy, I was a special education teacher serving under-resourced schools in New York City. I hold a B.A. in Classics from Dartmouth College and an M.A. in Education from Fordham University.
