I hold the chair in Education Policy at the University of Manchester, UK. My historical work is in undertaking intellectual histories, with a specific focus on education policy and leadership. I have both written intellectual histories of knowledge production and the relationship between the state, public policy and knowledge, and I have developed this approach methodologically.
