Former Junior Fellow at the Harvard Society of Fellows and Hans Rothfels Assistant Professor of History, Brown University, Jo Guldi is author of Roads to Power: Britain invents the infrastructure state (Harvard, 2012) and co-author of The History Manifesto (Cambridge, 2014).  She is currently associate professor of the History of Britain and its Empire at Southern Methodist University.  She has recently published many articles about digital history methods, participatory mapping, and the history of eviction and rent control in Britain and its empire.
