About Me

I am a Soviet and American historian, History doctoral student at the University of Pennsylvania, and writer.

My academic work examines the intersections of Black experience, identity, ethnicity, race, and Soviet nationality policy in the Soviet Union and post-Soviet space.

My public writing analyzes the linkages of race, foreign policy, and culture in the United States, Russia, and Ukraine.
