About Me

I hold a PhD in History from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). I am a Principal Researcher at the National Scientific and Technical Research Council of Argentina (CONICET), based at the Institute of Argentine and Latin American History “Dr. Emilio Ravignani”, UBA/CONICET. Founder and coordinator of the Historical War Studies Group (GEHiGue) at that institute.

My current research focuses on the impact of the two World Wars in Argentina and the sociocultural aspects of the Falklands/Malvinas question, from the perspective of the social and cultural history of war.

Recent Publications

In addition to articles in peer-reviewed journals and book chapters, I have recently published:

  • From the Pampas to the Trenches. Military Mobilisation from Argentina, 1914-1920s (2026), as co-author;
  • At the Periphery of a World War? Urban Experiences of the First World War in Africa, East Asia, Latin America and South Europe (2025), as co-editor;
  • Falklands/Malvinas 1982. A War of Two Sides (2023), as co-author;
