- About Me
My research focuses on highlighting marginal voices, especially those of women, from the Classical past through the early modern period, with a focus on 13c France. I am very interested in restoring the names and purposes of individuals who do not feature in the Grand Narrative. My study of Southern French religious history attempts to bring to light the subtle dynamics of religious women’s agency in a patriarchal schema. With appearances on the History Channel and Discovery+, I hope to bring resonance to long-lost medieval women and others who have been excised from the general narrative.
