About Me: In 2025 I was awarded a PhD for my research as a Techne AHRC CDA researcher at the University of Westminster. My research project ‘The ‘lost’ museum’ : the history of the Royal United Services Museum, 1829-1922′ is a collections research-based project that analysed the development of the history of the RUSI Museum from archival records and its ghostly traces in other collections, such as those of the Imperial War Museum, the National Maritime Museum and the National Army Museum. The Museum closed in1962, however the wealth of material I found meant that I finished the history of the RUSI Museum in 1922, at the end of its third 30ish year periodic cycle, and not its final fourth. I am an experienced special collections librarian, and collections manager. I have worked to develop and promote RUSI’s heritage. I have previously worked as a collections development consultant for SOAS, Manager, Rare Books and Special Collections at the University of Sydney Library and as Librarian at Chawton House.
