About Me

Lisandra Estevez is Associate Professor of Art History in the Department of Art + Visual Studies at Winston-Salem State University.  She holds a PhD in Art History from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey.  Her areas of research focus on Spanish and Latin American art (1500-to the present) that include transatlantic cultural exchanges in early modern art history, the African diaspora in early modern Europe and Latin America, the history of collecting, and polychromy in pre-modern art.
