A poet and historian whose work travels between audiences in and outside the academy. I foundedĀ THoR-Taking the Humanities on the Road, a public humanities laboratory project based at the Walter Benjamin Kolleg, University of Bern, Switzerland.
My current research and writing is on indigenous ways of knowing in Southern Africa and elsewhere.
