Breckinridge Professor of Political Science & Women’s Studies); Associate Vice Chancellor for Teaching & Learning, 2002-2006; Interim Provost 2005. Boston University: Dean of Arts & Sciences, 2007-15; Professor of Political Sciences, 2007 present. Member of the American Academy of Arts & Sciences since 2002. I have published various works on American political development, including the history of gender and social policy, immigration and nationality policy. Currently working on a history of American higher education.
