- About Me
Doctor in Modern History at the University of Paris IV – Sorbonne, I defended a thesis on slavery in the English West Indies and the French Lesser Antilles of the 17th century. I am interested in the history of slavery in the Lesser Antilles in France and England between the 17th and 19th centuries. I have also carried out work on the history of sugar cane and sugar plantations in Martinique and Guadeloupe. The architectural and cultural heritage of the French West Indies is also one of my interests.
