About Me

Bringing the past into focus in the present is my goal, whether through nonfiction books like Women of Valor: the Rochambelles on the WWII Front, or a proposed historical fiction series on medieval French counts who built the foundations of today’s society, along with a few hundred amazing castles. American-born, French resident, I began my career as a journalist, took a turn into history, earned a PhD at the EHESS in Paris, taught at Sciences Po, now back to writing.
