I am a Professor of History at John Brown University in Northwest Arkansas. My primary area of expertise is nineteenth-century religion and reform, with a focus on anti-poverty and anti-slavery efforts among Unitarians in antebellum Boston. I also teach African history and general education history classes and run the honors program at JBU.
