About Me

I am a PhD Candidate at the Carleton University (Canada). My current research examines Canadian soldier photographs of the Korean War (1950-1954) and the representations of combat, tourism, and civilian-military interactions in photograph collections. In addition to my studies, I am also a Research Consultant.

My MA thesis, “Muddying the Lens: Photographs of the Canadian Expeditionary Force,” examines the production of private and official photographs, arguing that these photographs are the product of the individual experience of war.
