I’m a historian of war and learning with specialty in using oral history to capture the learning process during war. I combined historical research methods to access informal learning in despatch riders for my doctoral thesis, which I completed at the University of Durham.
I teach at one of the top STEM schools in the US, combining interdisciplinary teaching methods with my love of research. I also study and research effective history pedagogy for secondary students and am beginning a student-led school research project in 2024.
