About Me

I am a historian and documentary editor, currently working with the Papers of Thomas Jefferson at Princeton University. I am finishing my dissertation on loyalists exiled during the American Revolution, and I use digital mapping techniques to investigate their evolving correspondence networks. I was previously an assistant editor with the Papers of Robert Treat Paine at the Massachusetts Historical Society, where I spent some quality time working through the atrocious handwriting of an underrated founding father!
