About Me

I am a historian of Modern France, with expertise in the Revolutionary era.  My research focuses on Parisian spaces for the dead in the post-revolutionary period, such as the Paris Catacombs and Père Lachaise Cemetery.  I am in the early stages of a new project about dare devils and risk taking in nineteenth-century Paris.
