I am a social and cultural historian. I received my PhD from the University of Reading (UK) in 2013. My doctoral research focused on racism in post-war Europe.
After a life-changing diagnosis, my research interests shifted towards the history of breast cancer activism. I am currently working towards a second PhD at the University of Genoa. My thesis focuses on the history of the San Francisco-based grassroots organization Breast Cancer Action.
