About Me

I have an MLIS with a Certificate in Archives and Special Collections.  I hold an MA in History from the University of New Orleans, as well as further coursework in US History after 1867, with research specializations in the US South, Race & Ethnicity, and Gender & Sexuality. My research has focused on African American women during the late nineteenth and early twentieth century, specifically sexual violence and memory.
