About Me

I am currently doing a master degree in women history more precisely about gender discourse in the feminine page of La Presse, Montreal (Québec, Canada) most read journal by the french speaking population. The journalist I am studying is Colette (Édouardina Lesage) and her advice column from 1903 to 1956. I explore the gender norm she provides by her advices as well as the transgressions she can make by that medium. I also study the private matters that women put – with their letters – in the public space via the column.

My larger interest is in Quebec history in the 20th century, women and gender history and feminsit study. I am writing mostly in french but speak english and spanish fluently.

I am also doing a podcast on history (multiple subjects) on named Histoire de passer le temps. (In French)
