About Me

I am an Independent Historian and the Curator of the Cumberland County Historical Society in Greenwich, NJ. I received my Master’s with distinction in 2018 in American History with a Certificate in Public History from Rutgers University – Camden. My historical interests are 19th century gender, sexuality, material culture, and social and cultural history. I routinely write for CCHS’s newsletter, The Cumberland Patriot, on research pertaining to Cumberland County and have presented at invited talks at the Cumberland County Historical Society, Vineland Historical and Antiquarian Society, Greenwich Presbyterian Church, and at a Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) meeting. I also research and write on areas outside of Cumberland County, mainly focusing on Philadelphia and New York City.
