About Me

I have a Phd in American Studies from Purdue University. My dissertation, “Virgin Land: Young Women and Sexual Citizenship in the Contemporary United States” is a comparative study of legal, medical, and rhetorical cultures of virginity in the United States during World War II and the War on Terror. I have taught courses on women’s studies, LGBT studies, and women and public policy in the contemporary United States.
