About Me

Dr. Kira Lussier’s research interests lie in the histories of psychology, science, business, capitalism, and the self in 20th/21st-century North America. Her work has appeared in SlateThe Conversation, and The National Post.

She is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute for Management & Innovation, University of Toronto, Mississauga. She earned her PhD in history of science from the University of Toronto in 2018. Her dissertation research examined the history of personality testing in late 20th-century American corporate management practices.
