I am a first year PhD student in the American Studies Department at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. I graduated cum laude from Wellesley College in 2017 with an A.B. in American Studies. In addition to my academic work on rural lesbian separatism and what I have termed “Womyn’s Capitalism”, I have worked as a community organizer in West Virginia.
