About Me

Alice is a Ph.D. candidate at The Georgia Institute of Technology in the History and Sociology of Technology and Science with a focus on the history of technology.  Her dissertation examines engineering cultures and white masculinity at the Tennessee Valley Authority from the 1930s to the 1950s.

Alice has earned a B.S. in Engineering from Harvey Mudd College; an M.S. in the History and Sociology of Technology and Science at Georgia Tech; and a Graduate Certificate in Science, Technology, and Society (STS) at Georgia Tech.
