About Me

I study women in the United States military and how their presence affects military culture and understanding of gender. I also study gender and sexuality in military contexts. I use advertisements and other aspects of visual and popular culture to explore changing ideas of gender. I am a digital pedagogy specialist, focused on making the best use of digital technology in the classroom and preparing students for digital academia.
