About Me

I am the author of ten books on regional New Jersey history and retired from the museum field in 2024 after close to thirty years of working in both the public and private sector. I am especially passionate about women’s history, South Jersey’s rich past, crime and other lesser-researched areas where stories are waiting to be told. I continue to consult with local historical agencies regarding the care of their collections and any assistance I can provide to help maintain their sites. I participated in the research for the production of “And the Balls Roll On,” an award-winning documentary tracing the history of the game of Skee-Ball, invented by a South Jersey man in 1906. History has been a life-long interest that I am always happy to share with others.
