About Me

I am a former American Political Science Association Congressional Fellow who has published widely on Congress and lobbying. My current research and publications are on the history of American nuns, with feminist analysis of women and religion. I have published widely in this area, and have served as a consultant and on-film expert in several documentaries. My 18-lecture series on the history of American nuns is available through NowYouKnowMedia.com I write frequently for Global Sisters Report and the National Catholic Reporter.
