About Me

I am a feminist historian of colonial Indonesia with special interest in women’s history and the history of childhood. Having obtained my PhD at the European University Institute in 2019, I am currently a Junior Researcher at the Cluster of Excellence for Religion and Politics at Münster University. I am working on a book on girls’ education in the Dutch East Indies.
