About Me

I am a PhD candidate in U.S. History at Indiana University and a Graduate Research Assistant at the Center for Research on Race and Ethnicity in Society (CRRES) at Indiana University. I am currently writing a dissertation on Black Creek Indians in Indian Territory and the State of Oklahoma from the Civil War through the Tulsa Race Riots. It focuses on resistance, often armed resistance, to white supremacy throughout Reconstruction and Progressive Era.
