I am a historian of science, technology, and knowledge as well as of women and gender. I am mainly working with sources from the 19th and 20th century. Research focuses have been the Olympic Games, French anthropologist Paul Bataillard, the Austrian Academy of Sciences and its members, autobiographical research, science as a family enterprise, popular scientific societies, nuclear medicine, radiology, pregnancies and low-level radiation, and most recently the history of botany by 19th century women.
