About Me

I am currently a research fellow at the Institute of History, Research Centre for the Humanities, and Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest, Hungary. I received my PhD from Eötvös Loránd University in 2022 with a dissertation on the beginnings of psychology and psychiatry in Hungary between 1750 and 1830. My current research examines discourse networks in nineteenth-century Hungarian psychiatry, exploring how administrative practices, paper technologies, asylum statistics, and patient records shaped psychiatric knowledge and institutional life. More broadly, my work focuses on the history of psychiatry, the history of medicine, and the history of science in Central Europe.
