About Me

Daniela C. Zhang is a historian of modern and contemporary Chinese art and literature. She teaches the history of Chinese literature and researches the transformation of ink painting and calligraphy in the 20th and 21st centuries. Her work also engages with modern Chinese poetry, including translation and literary analysis. Beyond art and literature, she explores the cultural and mythological significance of dragons in a broader historical context.
