About Me

Alexis N. Cathcart is a PhD candidate at Morgan State University. Her research focuses on how Black worker-intellectuals engaged with and defined communism and their relationship with the communist movement in the US throughout the 20th century. She hopes her research will serve as an intellectual guide in organizing the working class in the protracted struggle against anti-blackness, capitalism, and imperialism.
