- About Me
I am currently a faculty member at the College of Foreign Languages and Cultures, Xiamen University, and I hold a PhD in Translation Studies from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. My primary research interests focus on Chinese translation history and modern women’s periodical studies. Recently, I have been reorganizing archival materials on modern Protestant women’s journals published in Republican Shanghai, with a particular focus on uncovering the relationship between translation and the construction of womanly ideals in modern Chinese society.
