Dr. Blanka Misic is an historian and archaeologist researching and teaching on cultural, social, and religious aspects of the Roman Empire. As a Senior Research Fellow at the Vienna Cognitive Science Hub and a Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellow at the Department of Classical Archaeology, University of Vienna (AT), Blanka specializes in applying interdisciplinary Cognitive Science of Religion and Sensory Archaeology approaches to the study of religions and rituals in the Roman Empire. Her broader specialities lie in Roman archaeology, Roman army, and Latin epigraphy.
