About Me

I am a Ph.D. Candidate in American History at CY Cergy Paris University, in France. My dissertation examines the periodicals created by and for American Jewish Women between 1895 and 1945, and is firmly rooted in American Jewish History, journalism history and gender history. I earned my master’s from the Ecole Normale Superieure in Lyon, where I analyzed the first ever magazine published by and for American Jewish Women between 1895 and 1899, The American Jewess.
I also teach American History to undergraduate students at CY Cergy Paris University, and am eager to continue to share my passion for this field with the younger generation.
