About Me

Dr. Caterina Agostini is a historian of science and digital humanist at Indiana University Bloomington, where she is interpreting and encoding Newton’s unpublished manuscripts on alchemy (Chemistry of Isaac Newton, http://chymistry.org/). She is co-P.I. in the Harriot Papers and faculty affiliate at the University of Notre Dame.

Dr. Agostini has published on Galileo Galilei, Thomas Harriot, Renaissance navigation, and digital humanities methods. She is the co-chair of the International Image Interoperability Framework (IIIF) and the Communications Lead in the Association for Computers and the Humanities (ACH).
