About Me

I am a second-year Ph.D. student in History at the University of New Brunswick under the joint supervision of Dr. Cheryl Fury and Dr. Bonnie Huskins.  My transnational research interests include the British Atlantic World, Early Modern Europe, Religion and Belief Systems, and Medieval Europe.

When I am not in the library, I love to explore the maritimes having moved to Fredericton, New Brunswick from Vancouver Island, B.C. in January 2023 to begin my Ph.D.

While I love Canada, I am emphatic about nations, peoples, and cultures. I have visited 25 countries and 6 continents, participating in short-term archaeological excavation in Belgium and humanitarian work in India, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Europe, and the Middle East. In addition to these experiences, I studied abroad in England during my undergraduate degree which cemented my passionate pursuit of the past.
