I am an Associate Professor in Cultural Studies, member of the Centre d’Études des Relations et Contacts Linguistiques et Littéraires (CERCLL UR UPJV 4283 ) of the Université de Picardie Jules Verne in Amiens, France. My research focuses on Transnational Studies and Comparative Cultural Studies, with core concerns in German and American Studies / German-American Relations, Shakespeare Studies / Anglo-German Relations. I also have a strong interest in European History, European Cultural Politics and Remembrance Public Policies in France and Germany and I am about to finish a French-German Joint Master’s Degree in European Public Policy. I am currently working on a book project about public memory in France and Germany and the ambivalence of collective identity in the imperial–colonial context.
