- About Me
I am a current graduate student researching drugs and alcohol history, mainly focused on the Appalachian region of the U.S. I have done extensive research on the history of illicit whiskey distillation from the Civil War to Federal Prohibition in Appalachia. My current work focuses on the history of marijuana in Kentucky during the late 20th century.
My previous research has been on gender and sexuality in the Antebellum South, focusing on enslaved women and reproduction.
