Melissa is a Canadian Military Historian based out of Victoria, British Columbia. She has a Bachelor of Arts with a major in history honours and a minor in media & communications. She is currently working towards her MA in History at the University of Victoria. Her research looks at Canadian war correspondents during the Second World War with a focus on coverage of operations in Italy and Sicily. Alongside her academic work, Melissa works as a contract researcher for historical documentaries and is a board member of the Friends of the British Columbia Archives.
