I am a museum professional and historian of gender, the body, and material culture who is passionate about telling stories through objects. Currently, I am the Director of the George Read II House and Gardens at Delaware Historical Society. I hold a Ph.D. from the History of American Civilization Program at the University of Delaware, and my dissertation uses material culture to tell a history of ideas about the maternal mind and body in the British Atlantic world.
