About Me

Dr. Cassie Osei is a historian, writer, and scholar of Latin America, the African diaspora, and Brazil. Her research focuses sits at the intersections of race relations and gender. Dr. Osei’s first book project is a study of Black domestic workers in twentieth-century Brazil. She is currently an assistant professor of history at Bucknell University.
