Post-doctorate in History by UFPE (2017). PhD in Social History (Unicamp, 2014). Master's and Degree in History (UFPE, 2007 and 2003). He completed the Sandwich Internship at Vanderbilt University, with CAPES Scholarship. Professor of History of Africa at the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco - UFRPE. Researcher of the Laboratory of Studies and Interventions in Cultural and Social Heritage of Memory (LEPAM) and in the Research Group O Mundo Atlântico, UFPE. She is part of the group of women entitled Black Academics. She has experience in History and Education, with emphasis on History of Brazil, working mainly in the following subjects: Workers of mills, Abolition, Post-Abolition, Gender Relations and Ethnic Racial Relations.
