I am a historian of the Jewish experience in Eastern Europe, particularly in Poland. My research focuses on the ways in which Jews negotiated Jewishness and Polishness through museum creation and documentary projects between 1890 and 1941. I teach courses on the Holocaust in Eastern Europe, on postwar Eastern European Jewish life, and on Jewish nationalism.
