Katarina Keane is the Executive Director of the Center Global Migration Studies at the University of Maryland, an interdisciplinary center examining the meanings and experiences of immigration and migration. She is also a Lecturer in the Department of History at the University of Maryland.
Her dissertation explored the activism and contributions of Southern women in the American feminist movement of the 1960s and 1970s.
Her teaching and research interests center on social movements in the post-1945 period. She earned her doctoral degree in history from the University of Maryland, College Park.
